Cancellations made by you

If you have to cancel your booking, we must receive your cancellation notice in writing by email post@rmslt.no . Your cancellation date/time will be the date/time on which you send the notice.

You are strongly advised to obtain a cancellation insurance at the time of booking, that covers cancellation fees.

If you fail to join a tour, you join it after departure, or leave an activity for any reason after it has commenced/prior to its completion, we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.

Please note that different cancellation conditions may apply to different suppliers.

Cancellation and changes by supplier

Most of the activities requires a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not met, the supplier reserves the right to cancel the activity. The supplier also reserves the right to change any trip with your safety in mind. The weather changes fast in Northern Norway and conditions might change rapidly. We also may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if external factors like terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other events prevents the supplier to operate the planned itinerary.

The supplier will make every effort to provide similar alternative arrangements without additional costs. The changes shall be optimized to make the inconvenience as low as possible for you. The supplier may offer an alternative trip at the same time as the original booked activity. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or alternatively receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, the refunds will be deducted any unrecoverable costs.

We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.

Please note that different cancellation conditions may apply to different suppliers.

You are obliged to familiarise yourself with the terms of sale for each activity, and to convey this information to other participants you have booked/ordered on behalf of. It is your responsibility to make sure that your (and your group) fitness level fits the supplier’s recommendations. Each participant must inform the guide of medical conditions, illnesses or disorders that may be relevant for safety reasons or intensified during the event/activity.

The decision of the activity leader is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any participant or staff member participating in the activity. If you fail to comply with a decision made by a group leader or interfere with the well-being or mobility of the group, the activity leader may direct you to leave the trip immediately, with no right of refund.

By booking or ordering a trip with our suppliers you acknowledge that the nature of the activities might be adventurous, and that participation in the supplier’s activities may involve personal risks above and beyond those encountered on a more conventional holiday.

We/our suppliers do not assume any responsibility for accidents that are caused by customers or can be traced to their own actions or are caused by factors outside of human control (Force majeure) unless the accident is due to serious negligence by the activity leader.

Personal travel insurance is not included in the tour price for the activities. This is your responsibility.

Liability insurance
Our suppliers carry Public Liability Insurance that covers unforeseen incidents/injuries that might happen on the activities.

Ramsalt Opplevelser AS is merely an intermediary, and do not carry Public Liability Insurance.

If you are not content with the services provided, complaints must be made as soon as possible, at least within 14 days after completion of the activity purchased, in writing per email to supplier according to supplier list on Rmslt.no/supplier. Otherwise you forfeit the right to complain.
